![]() The Netherworld arc gave us true conflict that the series lacked and then the story continued to focus on that conflict post-Netherworld arc. was in the story and that right there brought the series to new heights. It really wasn’t that interesting nor was it anything special or that good. The plot of Fire Force improved a lot as the series progressed. All are fair reasons but what do I personally think of Fire Force in its entirety? Whether it was fan service, the series itself not living up to what the majority consider to be Ohkubo's better series "Soul Eater", or just them not finding themselves that interested. Fire Force is one of the more polarizing titles within the new-gen shonens and for different reasons at that. With this series finished, another new-gen Shonen has ended. As he endeavors to reach the truth, Shinra soon finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy that aims to engulf the world in flames. To make matters worse, Shinra's past returns to haunt him after he confronts a mysterious cult. Infernal sightings are worsening across the country, and his own fellow brigadiers struggle to unite against these threats. After he is recognized for his abilities, Shinra joins Special Fire Force Company 8, one of many fire brigades developed to combat these Infernals.Īlthough working with the Fire Force seems to have fulfilled a calling, Shinra learns that becoming a hero is not as easy as it seems.
